Jerold M. Grodin, Ph.D.
Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Grodin has been providing services since 1984 to individuals with personality and mood disorders and post-traumatic stress. He also works with couples and families, and counsels adult clients on conflicts connected to interpersonal relationships. Dr. Grodin is a certified addiction specialist and conducts evaluations and treatment for the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services. He developed and supervised a forensics unit at Caleo Counseling Center in Hudson Falls, NY. Dr. Grodin provides court testimony and has served as an expert witness in many local trials.
In addition, Dr. Grodin conducts court ordered custody evaluations for courts throughout the Capital District. He has served as an expert witness in court matters related to complex issues of diagnosis and competence as relates to custody and parenting matters. His experience includes addressing questions of domestic violence and sexual abuse within families.
Dr. Grodin developed and conducted behavioral cardiology groups in collaboration with Saratoga Cardiology Associates. Dr. Grodin’s practice includes seeing individuals and couples to help them overcome conflicts and obstacles that block them from a more fulfilling life.
